AEG underwrites purchasers to ensure that they meet company criteria for institutional funding licensing and information security.

Information Security

Information is protected behind a HIPAA compliant firewall. All electronic transmissions are facilitated via a secure file server. We will not use email to transmit any personal financial or medical information. We have implemented extensive training and protocols to ensure the proper handling of this information by AEG employees.

Anti Fraud Program

At AEG, we recognize that the Life Settlement industry is not immune to the possibility of fraudulent activity. We believe strongly in our obligation to be aware of this exposure and have taken considerable steps to ensure we are diligent in our efforts to prevent this type of activity. To serve this purpose, AEG has developed a comprehensive Anti-Fraud program. This program consists of a formal policy, extensive guidelines and on-going training provided to employees outlining areas at risk for fraud.

Regulation

AEG is fully committed to meeting the insurance licensing and other requirements of each jurisdiction where we conduct life settlement transactions. We have developed state specific procedures to ensure compliance with individual state requirements where regulation exists. In those jurisdictions where there is no regulation, we operate in accordance with the requirements of Florida law.
